MegaPlug – Terms and Conditions

Welcome to MegaPlug, the electric vehicle (EV) charging application. By downloading, accessing, or using MegaPlug, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the MegaPlug mobile application ("App"), website, or any services provided by Mega Plug for EV Charging Stations S.A.E ("Company", "we", "us"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

2. Service Description

MegaPlug provides users with access to:

• EV charger locations, availability, and pricing
• Charging session initiation, monitoring, and payment
• Customer support and service-related notifications

The Company reserves the right to modify, update, or enhance the services at any time.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, users must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials
• Notify the Company immediately of any unauthorized account access

The Company may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use the App solely for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Tamper with charging stations or interfere with their operation
• Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
• Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity

5. Charging Sessions & Payments

• Charging fees are calculated based on the tariff issued by the Egyptian Electric Utility and Consumer Protection Regulatory Agency (EGYPTERA)
• Payments are processed through approved and licensed payment service providers
• You are solely responsible for ensuring your payment details are accurate and valid

6. Pricing and Fees

Pricing is determined according to the electricity consumption tariff issued by EGYPTERA and may change in the event of a new tariff issuance.

Current prices will always be displayed in the App prior to starting any charging session.

7. Privacy Policy & Required Disclosures

MegaPlug collects and processes personal data only as necessary to provide its services and in compliance with applicable Egyptian laws.

MegaPlug does not sell or ship physical products.

7.3 Delivery Policy

• Delivery: Not applicable

MegaPlug does not provide delivery of physical goods or services. All services are delivered digitally through the App.

7.4 Refund Policy

• Refunds: Not applicable

MegaPlug does not provide refunds under any circumstances. All charging sessions and payments made through the App are final and non-refundable, including but not limited to partial usage, interruptions, technical issues, or user error.

8. Service Availability

MegaPlug strives to maintain high service availability; however, uninterrupted access is not guaranteed. Charging stations may be unavailable due to maintenance, power outages, connectivity issues, or third-party system failures.

The Company shall not be liable for losses arising from:

• Station downtime
• Network or connectivity failures
• Technical malfunctions beyond reasonable control

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• The Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the App
• The Company is not responsible for damage to vehicles, charging equipment, adapters used improperly, or failures caused by third parties

10. User Responsibilities at Charging Stations

Users agree to:

• Park responsibly and comply with posted instructions
• Disconnect and vacate charging spaces promptly after charging ends
• Avoid blocking or misusing charging stations

Idle fees may apply if a vehicle remains parked after the charging session is completed.

11. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, logos, software, content, and materials available within the App are the exclusive property of Mega Plug for EV Charging Stations S.A.E.

No part of the App may be copied, reproduced, modified, or distributed without prior written consent.

12. Updates to Terms

The Company may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the App following any updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Account Termination

The Company reserves the right to suspend or permanently deactivate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in suspicious or fraudulent behavior.

Users may request account deletion by contacting customer support.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Cairo, Egypt.
